A fireworks-loaded trailer erupted in flames on Interstate 75 in Tennessee Saturday night, sending pyrotechnics across the roadway and forcing a shutdown.

An impromptu fireworks display shut down a stretch of interstate in Tennessee on June 6, after a box truck carrying the pyrotechnics caught fire.

The local volunteer fire department said in a statement: 'The trailer was full of fireworks, all of which became involved in the fire and exploded during the incident.'
